December Bellabox Gets me Prepared to Party In Style!

The December BellaBox and last box of 2011 has finally arrived and the theme of the box is called 'Party in Style'! I love the concept of these beauty subscription services, despite knowing that not every item included in each box will make me smile from ear to ear! Still, I think it's a great concept to have the chance to trial products from brands that I love and have not come across before. The December box is the third BellaBox in the running and you can see my posts on the October BellaBox here and November BellaBox here.

I received a four generous  full sized products and one sample sized product:
December BellaBox
Savoir Faire Concealer Pack in Light, full size rrpA$35

Batiste Dry Shampoo in Blush, full size rrpA$9.95

Eylure Naturalites Eye Lashes, full size pack rrpA$11.95

Ozotic Elytra Nail Polish #530, full size 15ml rrpA$14.95

Elemis Pro Collagen Quartz Lift Mask, 3ml worth A$7 (full size 50ml rrpA$117)

BellaBox are so generous to include so many full sized products that the whole box was worth  ~$80, more than the cost of the box.

I love the concept of having an all in one concealer and I just still can't believe I received a full size concealer pack tailored to suit my skintone. I've tried the Batiste dry shampoo in Blush before and really like the floral scent. Dry shampoo is such a lifesaver when my hair needs attention! The Eylure lashes look volumous and full and I'm looking forward to using these when I get the chance. The Ozotic Elytra nail polish looks very glittery and pretty as you could see the glitters change from yellow to orange and to pink at different angles. I'm not a huge fan of luxury skincare masks and so the Elemis mask will go to mum who might be interested to try it out.

Overall, I'm very pleased with the December BellaBox and I'm happy to continue my subsciption with BellaBox.

  1. I received the same except a Kosmea rosewater mist instead of the dry shampoo! Its really nice. I'm really happy with Bella Box, it was my first one so I think I will definitely be staying subscribed for a while yet!

  2. I'm so happy with the contents of this month's box :) I liked the other months but they were so skincare focused, and if this month was crap I was going to cancel my subscription afterward. I'm glad it completely changed my mind though!

  3. @jimmi lou, BellaBox impresses me the most between all other boxes based on the products included each month. There's always at least one product I like and I always look forward to receiving the next!

@SilhouetteScreams, That's great that you decided to stay subscribed with BellaBox as their service is pretty good!

  4. I wish I could justify jumping on the band wagon and subscribing to these monthly sample boxes. Unfortunately my budget won't allow such a luxury, it's essentials only :-( I am forever reading blogs featuring the contents and some do seem really valuable. Wow I can't get over how many different ones there are now, it's getting to be a very competitive service! I'm interested in seeing if they remain to be as good and valuable as time goes by. My initial thoughts are "these are awesome, what a great way to try new goodies each month" The only downside is getting too many products that are not suitable for my skin or that I can't use, that would be disappointing.

Anyway, I am venturing to your blog today to let you know that I have nominated you for a Liebster Blog Award, follow this link for the details - http://melmeko.blogspot.com/2011/12/liebster-blog-award.html :) :) :)

  5. @Melanie Kuziemko, you're right about ending up with too many products to go through and that the products may not suit everyone's skin type. So far I've been very happy with the majority of products I received and I hope the next box will be just as exciting. Also, thank you much for awarding my blog a Liebster award! I am flattered to receive such recognition from you!
