The change from Summer towards Winter means that our hair requires protection and nourishing treatments to ensure the cooler breeze and cold rain doesn't diminish the look of hair. To ensure your hair is in top notch this cooler season, I am giving away not 1, not 2 but 3 sets of Dove Hair Treatment packs, each containing two Dove Nutritive Therapy Nourishing Oil Care Treatments!! Thanks to Dove, you can win Dove's popular hair serum that I reviewed here and use one for yourself and either keep the second one as back up or give one to your bestie to try!

DeleteI'm not terribly organised I'm afraid, I use plenty of conditioner and use whatever treatment I have in the house from time to time :) I'm logged into Rafflecopter as Kate Ryan.
ReplyDeleteI guess the level of usage depends on the state of hair!
DeleteI use a treatment on my hair at least once every 2 weeks to keep the moisture in
ReplyDeleteSounds like your hair is very easy to maintain compared to mine! My hair is always lacking in moisture and without any treaments my hair would look like a mess!
DeleteAs I use the hair dryer more in winter, I use Keratinology (by Sunsilk) Heat Protector Spray to try and prevent damage!
ReplyDeleteThe new Sunsilk Keratinology Heat Protector Spray sounds nice! I've seen their range in the supermarket but haven't yet tried any of their products before.
Deletelots of conditioner is needed!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely!
DeleteI have a lot of problems with my hair.
ReplyDeleteIts very long but thin and my scalp reacts to some shampoos.
I either have my scalp unhappy. my hair unhppy or my hands break out in a rash...so keeping my hair looking great is a battle all year long :(
It sounds like you are allergic to particular ingredients found in shampoos. Are there any products that are suitable for you?
DeleteI've just started using Philip Kinglsey Elasticizer, and it leaves my hair so soft and detangles really well for a pre-shampoo treatment. I also use a deep-conditioning mask once a week... Have yet to find my HG mask though :(
ReplyDeleteThank you for the heads up Abigail! I haven't come across Philip Kinglsey Elasticizer before.
DeleteBeen meaning to try something cheaper than Redken heat smooth down hair serum!
ReplyDeleteDove Nutritive Therapy Nourishing Oil would be a great alternative!
DeleteI have been using Pantene overnight leave in conditioner, and I also use thermal protectant spray when I blowdry. I haven't found my 'dream' moisture product yet though...
ReplyDeleteThere are so many products out there! It really is difficult to find the holy grail hair product as I find that I'm loving one product after another!

Your very welcome Tram! I reviewed this product here (http://thebeautyofredroses.blogspot.com.au/2012/06/beat-winter-blues-hair-edition.html) if you're interested to know more about it. It's an awesome product and so affordable too!
DeleteThanks for the giveaway! I'm trying Pantene 3 Minute Miracle at the moment, and trying to avoid blow-drying my hair so much!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome Shelly :) I've tried Pantene 3 Minute Miracle before and I really love how silky my hair feels afterwards!
DeleteHi Rose :) Fantastic giveaway! I've been wanting to try this product since its release in AUS (I think it's a nice affordable hair oil)
ReplyDeleteIn winter I step up the moisturising of my hair. I try to not overuse heat tools and if so I ALWAYS use a heat protectant. Also, I use a John Freida 'Sea Kelp' hair mask and use a wide toothed comb to brush out damp hair.
Thanks for following my blog too - keep in touch! x.k

Hello Kristal! Thank you! I've been using John Frieda's Frizz-Ease shampoo and conditioner lately, though haven't yet ventured through their Sea Kelp hair mask. Thank you for the heads up!
DeleteHello Rose!
ReplyDeleteI use a lot of hair oil in the colder and drier months! Especially when blow-drying my hair as on the bottle, it says it's also a heat-protectant. Love multi-functional prods.
Thanks for the wonderful giveaway. x
Hi Jacquii! Oh I didn't know that hair oil can act as a heat-protectant. Thank you for sharing!
DeleteHi! What can you recommend on wavy thick hair? Coz I want to cut it short but Im afraid it will frizz up. Is Dove Hair Serum might do well with my hair? Please reply. Thanks! :))
ReplyDeleteHi there, the Dove serum could work to smooth and nourish you hair, but if you are worried about you hair becoming frizzing, I would suggest an anti-frizz spray. Hope that helps!
