Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturiser with SPF15

Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturiser with SPF15 (A$19.99/75ml) protects the skin from UVA and UVB rays and aims to hydrate and even skin tone and texture with core ingredients of total soy complex and natural light diffusers. The formula is oil-free, hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic - these are one of the main factors I usually look for in skin care products. Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturiser is an opaque white lightweight moisturiser which absorbs relatively well without leaving any traces of residue or any sticky finishes. However, once the moisturiser absorbed into my skin I could notice miniscule shimmers under certain lighting which give a lovely glow to my complexion

Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturiser is housed in a sturdy pump bottle which has a lock mechanism, so it's great to carry around when traveling. Just a couple of pumps is adequate for one application. The full size amount is 75ml which is quite large compared to most moisturisers which are available in 30ml and 50ml sizes.

My skin type is combination/oily and this moisturiser left my skin looking slightly oily towards the end of the summer day. I typically use an oil absorbing primer in order to control the shine, so for me I cannot keep the shine at bay when using this moisturiser. Instead of applying this moisturiser to my face I've been applying it to my decolletage and the back of my hands as it hydrates and protects at the same time. I like the soft and lightweight consistency and after application my skin feels bare, as if i haven't applied anything onto my skin at all.

I would recommend this moisturiser if you have dry skin and as for those who have the same skin type as me, using this moisturiser on the face during winter when the skin feels parched would be beneficial. It's essential to apply products containing SPF onto the skin throughout all seasons of the year, so I'm glad that Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturiser contains SPF15.

Do you apply products with sunscreen every single day of the year?

  1. I personally wear a minimum of SPF30 (preferably 50) every day of the year, religiously. It is apparently the number one way to stop premature aging, plus will help to mitigate the risk of skin cancer. I just wish that a company would come up with an SPF product that looked better under makeup!!
