Beat the Winter Blues: Hair Edition

It is officially winter and the beautiful blue skies and cooler breeze in Brisbane has changed dramatically to cloudy white skies with some strong breezes making its way through my long and thick hair. It has come to my attention that my colour-treated and regularly heat styled hair has changed from silky soft smooth hair to dry, parched and frizzy hair. To be honest, I haven’t really given my hair that extra TLC as I do with my skin- now is the time to really get stuck into it! I have accumulated a number of fantastic hair products over the last few weeks and I’d like to share with you the hair products I currently love.

Organix Instant Repair Cocoa butter Shampoo and Conditioner (A$15.99 each/385ml)*: I luurve chocolate (who doesn’t??) and I also luurve my Organix Instant Repair Cocoa butter Shampoo and Conditioner!! The Cocoa Butter scent of these Organix hair products is absolutely irresistible and divine- quite the sweet treat I am enjoying everyday, but for my hair! I enjoy indulging my senses with Organix Instant Repair Cocoa Butter whilst restoring the nutrients and repairing my hair with this deliciously scented shampoo and conditioner. The formula consists of silk proteins which penetrate, strengthen and nourish dry and damaged hair. There is also Amazonian Babassu Oil which revitalises hair and restores the natural elasticity of hair. To provide lasting lustre and shine to hair the formula also consists of Sesame Seed Oil to condition the hair. I have never been so impressed with shampoo and conditioner products until I had the chance of using Organix. Organix Instant Repair Cocoa Butter Shampoo and Conditioner. After a few weeks of use my hair feels very silky and soft to touch after blow-drying my hair.

Klorane Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk (A$8.95/50ml and A$16.95/150ml): My all time favourite method to cleanse my hair is using Klorane Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk. It comes in a sleek white can and makes my hair looking fresh and feeling revitalised. Using Klorane dry shampoo is a great way to remove grease and particles on the roots of my hair in a matter of seconds! Please see my full review here if you are interested.

Edward Beale Moroccan Gloss Pure Argan Oil Hair Spray Treatment Mist (125ml): I am no stranger to Argan Oil hair products, however when I came across Australian made and owned Edward Beale Moroccan Gloss, I was intrigued to see how this Pure Argan Oil in the form of a mist performs. The spray bottle is like no regular hair spray bottle as the nozzle is very firm and one steady spray of this mist gives off a cloud of fine particles evenly dispersed onto the hair. One spray is plenty to condition my ends and nourish my hair. The mist applied onto my hair feels very lightweight and my hair appears beautifully glossy (but not overly glossy) without a greasy feel. Edward Beale Moroccan Gloss is suitable for all hair types and is an excellent product to nourish the hair in the form of a hair spray.

Dove Therapy Nutritive Nourishing Oil Care Treatment serum (A$9.99/40ml)*: is a transparent oil which helps to eliminate frizz and help hydrate the hair. I use this serum during the mornings to protect and maintain my hair during the day. Core ingredients of the serum include coconut and sweet almond oil, which help to make my hair shine and feel silky smooth. The serum is housed in a very convenient plastic pump bottle with a cap and makes this product very convenient for travel. The serum is very lightweight and once applied, it soaks in quickly and my hair feels like I didn’t apply any product to my hair. My hair has become tangle-free, frizz-free, shiny and very well hydrated! I absolutely ADORE this product and highly recommend this! It's sooo affordable and provides amazing results for dry and dull hair.

ULittleBeauty Natural Shine Hair Serum (A$19.95/100ml): ULittleBeauty is an au naturel hair care product, which is formulated with natural ingredients such as Macadamia and Argan Oil to help bring back moisture loss and shine from dry and damaged hair. The serum appears milky white and has a very thin consistency, which makes it very easy to thoroughly moisturise the ends of my hair. The scent is am overwhelming scent of botanical extracts and dissipates after a short period of time. I have been using this serum as a night treatment for my hair and it works effectively to leave hair looking smooth and hydrated when I wake up in the morning.
