Violet Box (April 2014)

I hope you all had a wonderful and fun-filled Easter last weekend! I was feeling ecstatic when my April Violet Box arrived at my door step right after the long weekend came to an end! It was a nice surprise to receive some beauty goodies after indulging in some delectable chocolate Easter treats with family and friends over the break!

Cedel Scented Hairspray in either Oriental Blossom, Raspberry Punch and Coconut Bay (A$4.99/100g, full sized received) - The new generation of hairsprays have finally arrived and these innovative beauties by Cedel feature a delightful scent to ensure your hair smells beautiful all day long! I received the full size Cedel Oriental Blossom Hairspray and I love the bright and colourful packaging of this product. The size is compact, not too small nor big, so you could carry this while on a road trip or when you're going to a sleep-over. The Oriental Blossom scent smells pleasant just like a bouquet of fresh-cut flowers!

Bioderma Crealine H2O (A$19.95/100ml, A$29.95/250ml, A$39.95/500ml, 20ml sample received) - So many people have raved about this wonder makeup removing solution that I'm surprised that I myself have not yet tried this!  Bioderma Crealine H2O is a gentle, fragrance-free and non-rinse solution that helps to cleanse and remove makeup and residues on skin. If you have sensitive and intolerant skin, then this solution may be perfect for you.

Teeez Trend Cosmetics Chain of Stones Nail Lacquer in Melted Copper (A$15/8.5ml, full size received) - The shade Melted Copper is a gorgeous burnt orange/copper shade with a holographic finish. It's the perfect shade for this Autumn season! The formulation of this nail lacquer features four different effects: mirror, mirage, holographic and high gloss. Two coats is plenty to achieve a beautiful finish with a unique holographic effect!

Villainess Dulces en Fuego Whipped! (A$15/170g, sample pot received) -  I first came across the Villainess Dulces en Fuego range when I received my January Violet Box early in the year (review here). Their bath and body products smell so heavenly and sweet! The sample of Whipped body creme that I received has a musky bitter chocolate scent with vanilla and hints of citrus, nutmeg and black pepper. This body creme smells so divine thanks to the mixture of cherry kernel oil, antioxidant-rich grapeseed oil, light coconut oil and mango butter! This body creme makes my skin feel silky smooth and smell ohh sooo delicious!!

Be a Bomshell Eyeliner in Midnight (A$19, full size received) -  Be a Bombshell cosmetics seems to be popping up frequently in my Violet Box subscriptions. Their eyeliner in the shade Midnight is a dark navy shade which you could use to create a bold and sexy cat eye look. My eye lids are usually oily, so I always steer clear from liquid eyeliners and just stick to pencil/gel liners. I will definitely gift this to my bestie, who I know will love this shade!

My April Violet Box was quite exciting as I absolutely LOVE the variety of products that I could use on my hair, skin, nails, eyes and body! The Villainess Dulces en Fuego Whipped body creme has a yummy scent that is to die for, the Teeez Trend Cosmetics Nail Lacquer is the perfect shade to show off this season, the innovative Cedel Scented Hairspray will be my go-to hair product because it smells lovely and the Bioderma Crealine H2O will be my skin care saviour to rid all impurities and makeup on my face and eyes! I am very content with the products included in this month's Violet Box and as always, I cannot wait to see what will be included in the next installment of Violet Box!

Violet box subscriptions cost A$22.95/month, A$66/3 months, A$130/6 months or A$250/year and you will receive a surprise Violet Box containing 4-6 beauty treats (full/sample size) at your door step every month. For more information on Violet Box, please click here
