Impulse - Perfume in an Aerosol

Those were the days when I'd always carry a can of Impulse aerosol in my high-school bag! I'd always carry a can of Impulse with me to ensure that I'd have a pleasant scent lingering around me all day long! I've always been a huge fan of Impulse since I was a teen as I'd always feel confident everywhere I'd go and the variety of Impulse scents always smell naturally refreshing!

''Every woman can be impulsive. Impulse has been redesigned for everyday 'on-the-go use' by world-renowned fragrance experts. Get to know these light, delicious scents that you can spray whenever and wherever the mood strikes.''

This year, 2014, Impulse have launched an exciting range of Impulse Perfume in an Aerosol collection (A$4.99/75ml) featuring nine beautiful scents! You can view their range of scents by clicking on their webpage here. I have with me three of the nine scents and these are as follows:

Romantic Spark - with top notes of violet extracts and woody scents, Romantic Sparks is a lovely and pleasant fragrance that I'm sure all lovers of floral and woody scents will enjoy!

Merely Musk - top notes of lime and sandalwood combine to give you a clean and fresh scent!

Illusions - a fusion of rose extracts and sandalwood brings you the scent called Illusions that smells quite enchanting and reviving!

Although all three scents are unique and pleasant, my favourite is the Romantic Spark variation! The intensities of the scents are somewhat strong, so you need to make sure that you allow some distance (~20cm) between the aerosol can and your body. The strong scent means that it does last during the entire day by leaving a subtle trail of fragrance and scents.

Have you tried any of the new scents launched by Impulse?

xx Rose

The Sanctuary Spa 4 Day Moisture Oil Scrub

Now that winter is well gone, Spring has come to play and it's the perfect chance to rejuvenate skin that has lost it's moisture during the winter season. This is where The Sanctuary Spa has come to the rescue with the launch of their Body Oil Collection to ensure that your body looks and feels well hydrated and moisturised, so you could wear spring/summer clothes with confidence! The launch of The Sanctuary Spa's new and indulgent Body Oil Collection comes after the success of their skin boosting facial oils filled with the goodness of essential oils and vitamin E. I reviewed The Sanctuary Spa Therapist's Secret Facial Oil here and absolutely love how it made my skin feel revitalised and replenished!

The Sanctuary Spa Body Oil Collection features the following core ingredients: antioxidant gold of pleasure oil, omega 3 fatty acids and vitamin E. The products from this collection include the 2 Day Moisture Shower Gel (A$12.99/250ml), 4 Day Moisture Oil Scrub (A$17.99/150ml), 4 Day Moisture Oil Mist (A$12.99/150ml) and 5 Day Moisture Creamy Body Oil (A$12.99/250ml). These body products help to replenish and repair skin to leave it looking radiant, hydrated and soft to touch!

When I heard about the release of The Sanctuary Spa's Body Oil Collection, I jumped at the chance to try their new 4 Day Moisture Oil Scrub! I always feel at ease and relaxed when I pamper my skin with The Sanctuary Spa products, so the addition of the 4 Day Moisture Oil Scrub makes my showers a touch more pleasant!

The 4 Day Moisture Oil Scrub is a refining body scrub that helps to exfoliate, smooth and polish the skin to leave it feeling soft, nourished and well hydrated. The scrub is made with a nourishing blend of organic olive oil, shea butter and antioxidising gold of pleasure oil with fine salt crystals. I've been using this scrub twice weekly whilst in the shower and I am totally obsessed with this 4 Day Moisture Oil Scrub! I love how the fine salt crystals in this scrub melts away on the surface of my skin and it feels very gentle when I'm exfoliating my elbows, knees and any other rough surfaces of skin on my body. The infusion of organic olive oil leaves my skin feeling very hydrated and moisturised that there is no need to apply a body lotion to soften and moisturise my skin.

A little goes a long way, so I'll end up getting a lot of use and benefit from this 4 Day Moisture Oil Scrub over the Spring and Summer seasons!

Do you exfoliate your skin on a regular basis?
Have you ever used a body exfoliator that not only exfoliates your skin but also leaves your skin feeling hydrated?

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Colour in B Girl and Blacky O

Sally Hansen recently launched their innovative Miracle Gel Colour (A$16.95/14.7ml) nail collection featuring a hybrid lacquer/gel formula that delivers lasting gloss, shine and colour! Another key attribute of this new gel formula is that you could achieve long lasting colour without the need for a light source! Available in 18 gorgeous shades, all you need is a coat or two of Miracle Gel polish and then a single coat of Miracle Gel Top Coat to protect the colour surface of Miracle Gel polish.

The two shades of Miracle Gel Colour that I used to create the nail look in the above image are 'B Girl' and 'Blacky O'. B Girl is a gorgeous creamy and pastel Tiffany green shade and Blacky O is a solid black glossy shade. These two shades are my favourite shades from the range and are perfect to wear during this Spring season! If you're looking for some Miracle Gel nail inspiration and you have an Instagram account, be sure to check out the mesmerising nail art under the hashtag 'OMGel'.

I love love love the new Miracle Gel range by Sally Hansen as the Miracle Gel Colour polish lasted on my nails for more than 7 days before small chips start to become visible. This is the longest time that I've applied nail polish/top coat and my nails remain bold, glossy and full of colour for a full 7 days!

What is your opinion on Sally Hansen's brand new Miracle Gel formula?

xx Rose

Violet Box (September 2014)

My Violet Box arrived and I am feeling super excited to experiment with some new beauty goodies! The September edition of Violet Box came packaged in their signature white box with a black drawer. This is the 3rd time I've received my Violet box in this form and I really love it as the drawers are very useful for organising my makeup, stationery, hair accessories etc.

The contents in my September Violet Box included a selection of dry shampoo, nail treatment, nail polish, eye-shadow and eye pencil. It's great to see a wide selection between hair, makeup and nail products!

Scandalous Fabulously Flirty Dry Shampoo (A$16.95/150ml, full-sized product received) - I enjoy the convenience of using dry shampoo after a workout at the gym or when I'm in a rush and don't have the chance to wash my hair. Scandalous Fabulously Flirty Dry Shampoo is an interesting type of dry shampoo that is formulated using corn starch to absorb excess oil from the scalp. The scent is quite strong and has a woody-based scent, which isn't a scent that I would call my favourite. Despite the scent, my scalp and hair feels fresh and clean after a couple of sprays from this spray can.

Foltene Nail Treatment (A$29.95/10ml, full-sized product received) - I was first exposed to the brand Foltene when I received their Eye Lash and Eye Brow Treatment, in my August edition of Violet Box, that I am still using 'til this day. My nails are dry and somewhat brittle, so this Nail Treatment is definitely one that I would use to strengthen and lengthen my nails. The sponge tip applicator makes it very easy to apply a thin layer over the bed of my nails. You could also use this formula over nail polish. Fingers crossed that my nails become stronger and healthier!

I love playing with colour cosmetics, which is why I was feeling super excited when I opened up my Violet Box to reveal 3 colour cosmetic products!

Polished London Nail Enamel (A$8/10ml, full-sized product received) -  I received the shade 'Big Ben', which is a gorgeous pastel blue shade. This shade is perfect to wear during this Spring season!

Girlactik Eyeshadow (A$23/2.5g, full-sized product received) - This cute and compact eye shadow in the shade 'Pink Ruffle' is a pretty metallic baby pink shade. I've been using this cute shade as a highlighter by applying a tiny amount to the inner corners of my eyes and below my brow bone. I love how this shade can be used to highlight areas of my eyes. Due to the metallic sheen of this shade, I wouldn't suggest to use it as an all-over eyeshadow.

Starlooks Ultra Olive Gem Pencil (A$21.50, 2.4g, full-sized product received) - The shade I received is an Olive Green shade that applies on to appear like a metallic gold shade. Starlooks eye pencil is an amazing eye pencil as it provides intense pigmentation, has good lasting-power and is very easy to give eyes a dramatic look!

I am very happy with the contents I received in my September Violet Box. I've already started using every single product since I received my Violet Box subscription, so double thumbs up!! The products I received were all full-sized products, which is very generous of Violet Box!

Violet Box beauty subscriptions cost A$22.95/month, A$68/3 months, A$137/6 months or A$250/year and you will receive a surprise Violet Box containing 5-6 beauty treats (full/sample-size) at your door step every month. For more information on Violet Box, please click here

Have you subscribed to Violet Box?
Did you received the same contents/shades?

Jurlique Super Serums!

Do you incorporate serum into your daily skincare routine?

Serum is one of the most important steps prior to applying a moisturiser to deliver essential nutrients and vitamins deep into the skin, while a moisturiser acts as a barrier to hydrate and protect the skin. Serums are a fantastic skincare formula that help to replenish all the nutrients and vitamins your skin needs to look and feel gorgeous!

Jurlique recently launched some luxurious serums that I've been experimenting with and I have to say, I absolutely love the texture, consistency and results these serums offer! Today I will be reviewing the Herbal Recovery Advanced Eye Serum (A$58/15ml) and the Purely Age-Defying Firming and Tightening Serum (A$95/30ml).

The Jurlique Herbal Recovery skincare collection is my most favourite from the Jurlique line! I've used the Herbal Recovery Night Cream (reviewed here), Antioxidant Facial Oil (reviewed here) and Advanced Serum (reviewed here) in the past and these products worked very well to help make my skin appear softer, supple and wonderful! I was pretty excited when Jurlique launched the new Advanced Eye Serum as this product makes the Jurlique Herbal Recovery collection feel complete. The Advanced Eye Serum helps to reduce dark circles around the eye area, minimise signs of fatigue and alleviate dehydration, while replenishing the skin around the eye area to achieve radiant and brighter looking eyes!

The Herbal Recovery Advanced Eye Serum brings to light an ingredient called Naturevive PB18+ which is a complex that helps to deliver potent antioxidants and essential fatty acids to energise, revitalise and protect the skin around the delicate eye area. The formula is infused with Persian Silk Extract to assist in strengthening the skin cell capacity and act as a barrier to reflect environmental stressors, Wu-Zhu-Yu Extract to help boost the smoothness of skin, and Sacchromyces Cerevisiae to help reduce the appearance of dark circles around the eye area.

The Advanced Eye Serum is housed in a sleek-looking glass bottle with a pump to allow hygienic dispensing of the product. One pump produces a small pearl-sized amount of product that is sufficient to gently pat and massage onto the skin around the delicate eye area. The Advanced Eye Serum is a non-greasy formula which helps to nourish the skin while concentrating on reducing the appearance of dark circles and fine lines over continual usage. I've been using this eye serum as a daily night treatment and I have seen noticeable improvements in hydration and appearance over the space of 4 weeks. My dark circles appear less prominent and the skin around my eye area looks a lot more hydrated than it was before. I am very satisfied with the result of using Jurlique's Advanced Eye Serum and I would definitely recommend this beauty if you are in need of an eye cream that helps to re-energise and revitalize the skin around the eyes!

The Jurlique Purely Age-Defying Collection is aimed towards those who wish to minimise the appearance of wrinkles/fine lines, improve skin tightness and boost the smoothness of skin. The latest addition to the Jurlique Purely Age-Defying Collection is the Firming and Tightening Serum, which is a wrinkle smoothing concentrate.

The Jurlique Purely Age-Defying Firming and Tightening Serum contains a new Active-Firm Complex comprised of a blend of botanicals such as Oat Kernel extract, Beech Tree Bud extract and Tapioca starch to improve the appearance of skin while providing intense hydration for healthy-looking skin!

My skin lacks the essential nutrients and skin smoothing components to make it appear youthful, so using a serum that helps to provide a boost in these ingredients and prolong the aging process is something that I've found in Jurlique's Purely Age-Defying Firming and Tightening Serum. The serum is housed in a very convenient glass bottle with a pump and two full pumps is adequate to apply a thin layer all over the face and neck. The consistency of this serum is very thin, which allows for a quick and easy application over the skin. The formula absorbs quite quickly and doesn't leave any traces of product or sticky residues. My skin feels nicely hydrated, though not sufficiently hydrated. So, applying a moisturiser after applying serum helps to lock in skin hydration. Although I haven't noticed any dramatic changes in my very fine lines, I have noticed that my skin looks and feels more plump and soft. With continual use of this facial serum, I sure do hope my skin remains youthful and appear more radiant!

Jurlique skincare products are all developed from natural and organic ingredients to compliment the skin, which is why it is important to ensure that you use their products before the expiry date printed on the base of each bottle. Natural-based formulas made by Jurlique have worked so well with my skin in the past, which is why Jurlique is one of my favourite skin care brands!

Have you tried any of these wonderful Jurlique Serums before?
Which serums are your most favourite?

Imperial Leather No 42 Rockpool + No 19 Citrus Grove + No 26 Summer Bliss

Imperial Leather Master Perfumers have just launched their brand new range of handwash and bodywash that have been formulated with a delicate mix of exotic and invigorating scents! Scent is a crucial characteristics in handwash and bodywash as it really does effect your mood and make you feel relaxed, content and stress-free. Well, to me that's how I usually feel!

Psychologist Sabina Read explains, ''fragrance is commonly linked to our mood and behaviour via learned emotional responses associated with smells and past experiences. If we smell roses while visiting a sick loved one in hospital, the smell may evoke sadness or grief; however if we first smell roses after giving birth, we will most likely associate that smell with feelings of joy and love. Therefore fragrance plays a powerful role in mood and emotion across the lifespan.''

I love scents that are formulated with floral and plant extracts as it always reminds me of my favourite teas, which subsequently makes me feel soothed and relaxed on the inside. Furthermore, I also love fruity scents as it reminds me of all those times that I prepared crazy concoctions of fruit smoothies and salads during summer!

Imperial Leather have been around for over 70 years to give people a sense of happiness and luxury with the use of their wide-range of luxurious handwash and bodywash collections. The Imperial Leather range is categorised into five Imperial Leather fragrance families and these include: classic, floral, fruity, citrus and gourmet. These past few weeks, I've been loving and indulging in the Imperial Leather No 42 Rockpool and No 19 Citrus Grove handwashes (A$3.99/250ml pump pack, A$5.99/500ml refill pack) and the Imperial Leather No 26 Summer Bliss bodywash (A$6.49/500ml pump pack, A$8.99/1L refill pack).

Imperial Leather No. 42 Rockpool Anti-bacterial Handwash features a luscious blend of Indian Lotus and Waterlily, and base notes of Iris, Musk and Spearmint flower, which invoke quite a decadent, bold and strong woody and floral fragrance. The bottle shown in the photo above is a huge 500ml refill bottle that can fill up 2 smaller pump bottles. The pump bottle on the right hand side is the Imperial Leather No.19 Citrus Grove Anti-bacterial Handwash that has a very citrusy scent made from Lemongrass and Ginger, and base notes of Orange, Red Berries, Peach, Jasmine and Amber extracts. My favourite between the two would be the citrus variation as it does leave me hands smelling citrus-fresh! The consistency is quite lovely as these handwashes gradually lather up from a gel to foam texture. Only a small dollop is sufficient to thoroughly cleanse my hands whilst leaving them feel moisturised.

Imperial Leather No.26 Summer Bliss Bodywash features a luscious blend of Mango Butter and Frangipani. This wonderful fruity and floral scent really does fell indulgent and soothes my senses whilst in the shower. This bodywash feels super creamy and luscious that it sits nicely against my skin whilst cleaning my skin with a loofah. My skin feels wonderfully soft, smooth and well hydrated. Plus, the scent lingers for a short while before it slowly dissipates.

Overall, the luscious and creamy texture of these handwashes and bodywashes are truly incredible! I love these divine and invigorating scents as they make me feel like I'm living in luxury! I love the fact that Imperial Leather have created an extensive range of handwashes and bodywashes so that you could try different scents and fragrances each time you need a refill. The only problem in this is deciding which scent to try out next!

Which scents would you love to sense in handwashes and bodywashes?

One Direction - That Moment EDP Fragrance

That Moment EDP (100ml) by One Direction
That Moment Eau de Parfum (A$39/30ml, A$59/50ml, A$79/100ml) by English-Irish boy band One Direction is the second fragrance that launched after their popular and very first fragrance 'Our Moment'. The scent 'Our Moment' was a huge success when it was launched in August 2013, so this year, One Direction decided to launch a special edition fragrance called 'That Moment'. The fragrance also coincides with One Direction's 2014 World Stadium Tour, 'Where We Are'.

Harry Styles - ''The response to Our Moment was amazing! We are so pleased that so many of our fans liked it so much. Some people have already been asking 'what's next', so we've created a new version of Our Moment that takes some of the original notes, like creamy musk and patchouli and combines them with new scents such as refreshing cucumber, green apple and violet. We hope you like it as much as we do.''

That Moment is housed in an alluring intricate baby pink glass bottle with an extravagant silver glass diamond crown lid. The bottle looks so beautiful and very girly, so it really does stand out from my other fragrance bottles sitting on my dresser. That Moment invokes a soft lingering scent with top notes of green apple, refreshing cucumber and sparkling tangerine, middle notes of delicate muguet, peony and violet and dry notes of patchouli, creamy musk and cedarwood. Although a soft and gentle scent, the lasting power goes through most of the day when sprayed to the hair, neck and wrists.

If you love fruity, floral and musk scents and have sensitive olfactory senses, then That Moment is definitely one to try out!

That Moment is available at Amcal, Chemmart, Malouf, Priceline, Terry White Chemists and all good pharmacies and perfumeries.

Are you a fan of fruity, floral and musk based scents?

Lady Jayne Tangleze

The latest innovative hairbrush to hit shelves this month is the new 'Tangleze' by Lady Jayne. Tangleze is an on-the-go detangling hairbrush that assists in the ease of brushing detangled hair. The Tangleze is a sleek-looking oval-shaped hairbrush with a hard-case lid, which makes it very compact and practical as a handbag-essential. In addition, due to it's lightweight body, the Tangleze hairbrush is a very convenient hair tool to bring along whilst traveling out and about.

Brushing is made easy as the oval-shape of Tangleze fits perfectly in the palm of my hand to allow brushing with comfort and ease of control. The Tangleze can be used to detangle hair that is wet or dry. After towel drying my hair, I found that using the Tangleze made brushing through all the knots so easy with minimal breakage of hair!

The bristles are made of sturdy plastic, so unlike most brushes, the Tangleze can help to detangle hair with its strong bristles. Due to the structure and nature of the bristles, the Tangleze is best used with a light hand to brush through the mid-length to ends of the hair. For very difficult knots, using swift and light brushing movements will help to gently detangle hair.

As you can see in the photos below, the Tangleze has dual-length bristles to help minimise any damage to hair, especially when you're trying to tackle knots that are difficult to breakthrough. The bristles are also distanced equally from one another, which helps to allow ease of brushing.

The compact, lightweight and very easy to use detangling Tangleze now sits comfortably in my day bag ready for any hair emergencies when I'm on-the-go!

Lady Jayne's Tangleze (A$12.99) is now available at Priceline, Big-W, Target, K-Mart and selected pharmacies nationwide.

Have you tried using the new Tangleze before?
Which detangling hair brushes have you used in the past?

Violet Box (August 2014)

Receiving my monthly Violet Box beauty box subscription waiting for me on my doorstep always brings a smile to my dial as I always feel eager to discover new beauty products and brands. The August edition of Violet Box was presented in a sturdy white box with a black drawer, just like the July edition last month. I love the presentation of this drawer box as it looks very appealing and useful as a storage option for my on-going collection of beauty products!

This months Violet box contained a fabulous selection of eye makeup, eyelash & eyebrow treatment, lipgloss, hand cream and body soap. There were 4 full-sized products and a deluxe sample of the hand cream that were beautifully wrapped in hot pink tissue paper with shredded purple paper.

Foltene Eyelash & Eyebrow Treatment (A$20.95/10ml, full-sized product received) - I was intrigued when I saw an eyelash & eyebrow treatment by Italian brand Foltene, as I've never thought of trying to enhance the growth of the lashes and eyebrow. If you have thin and fragile eyelashes and eyebrows then this formula may assist to give you stronger, thicker and longer eyelashes and eyebrows. The core ingredient is Tricalgoxyl which is a common ingredient, used by expert scientists at Foltene Laboratories, that is used to prevent hair loss. The colorless formula is applied to the lashes/brows using the mascara wand and overtime the formula will help to encourage the growth and strengthen your lashes/brows. The scent of the formula is a tad overpowering for my liking, so if you have sensitive eyes, be sure to use this formula with caution.

Appelles Rosemary Body Bar Soap (A$5.95/100g, full-sized product received) - I love using bath and body products by Appelles as their products smell so divine and help to relax my body in luxury! I received a full sized Appelles Rosemary Body Bar Soap and the scent is utterly invigorating! This Appelles body bar soap is formulated with Australian essential oils, blue mallee eucalyptus, niaouli, rosemary and lemon myrtle.

Camille Beckman Glycerine Hand Therapy (A$18.95/180ml, 7.1g sample sized received) - This sample pot of Camille Beckman Glycerine Hand Therapy is housed in a cute little black jar with a cute fabric peach coloured rose adorned on its lid. The light pink coloured hand cream smells a little overpowering for my liking, however, the consistency is just about right to hydrate and moisten my dry hands. This cute little pot looks so pretty on my dresser, so I'll be reaching out for this when my hands are in need of TLC!

Evelyn Iona Lipgloss (A$20.50, full-sized product received) - Evelyn Iona is a brand that originated in the United States. This lipgloss was received in the shade 'Val', which is a gorgeous nude colour gloss that is gluten-free, preservative-free and are not tested on animals. I love how the brand Evelyn Iona focuses highly on using natural ingredients and formulating their products in an animal-friendly way. This nude gloss would be great an an everyday lip shade that is hydrating with a smooth and glossy finish.

Be A Bombshell Eyeshadow Quad in the shade 'New York City' (A$22, full-sized product received) - This sassy eyeshadow quad comes with four sultry and sexy shades that will help to give you a dramatic smoky eye look on your night out! The shades are highly pigmented, though I would definitely suggest using an eye primer to prolong its longevity. The white, grey and dusty green shades have metallic finishes while the black shade is matte.

These are swatches of the pretty nude lipgloss shade of 'Val' by Evelyn Iona and the eyeshadow swatches of Be A Bombshell Eyeshadow Quad in 'New York City. I am in love with the nude gloss as the texture is not too sticky and the formula feels very hydrating on my lips. The eyeshadow shades look so pretty as well, though they do lack staying-power.

Overall, my August Violet Box was quite an interesting one with a generous selection of eye, lip, hand and body products. I will definitely continue using each and every one product in this months Violet Box!

Violet Box beauty subscriptions cost A$22.95/month, A$68/3 months, A$137/6 months or A$250/year and you will receive a surprise Violet Box containing 5-6 beauty treats (full/sample size) at your door step every month. For more information on Violet Box, please click here.

Which products in the August edition of Violet Box do you find most intriguing?

Clear Scalp & Hair Beauty Therapy: Intense Hydration Shampoo & Conditioner

Clear Scalp & Hair Beauty Therapy's new intense Hydration Hair Care Line has just landed in-stores to ensure your hair is moisturised, strong and beautiful, rather than looking dry and weak. Approximately 90% of the strength of our hair emanates from the scalp, so when you expose your scalp to a hair-dryer and warm water from showering, your hair subsequently loses it's essential moisture that causes a reduction in the strength of hair.

Clear Scalp & Hair Beauty Therapy Ambassador, Miranda Kerr, 'Between photo shoots, traveling and styling with hot tools, it's easy for my hair to feel weak and dry. But, in my line of work - bad hair days just aren't an option! Clear Scalp & Hair Beauty Therapy's Intense Hydration Hair Care is my secret for strong, beautiful hair.'

The Clear Scalp & Hair Beauty Therapy Intense Hydration Shampoo (A$5.99/200ml, A$9.49/350ml)  & Conditioner (A$5.99/200ml, A$9.49/350ml) are both formulated with a scalp hydrating Cactus extract to assist the replenishment of hydration and moisture in dry and damaged hair. For me, dryness in hair is a common beauty dilemma that I encounter, particularly during the Winter season. For the last 4 weeks, I've incorporated the new Clear Scalp & Hair Beauty Therapy Intense Hydration Shampoo & Conditioner into my daily hair regime and I haven't looked back!

Both the Intense Hydration Shampoo and Conditioner are housed in a sturdy plastic bottle with a press down lid to dispense the product. The packaging is quite appealing being tall and slim just like the entire Clear Scalp & Hair Beauty Therapy line. I found that it was very easy to dispense a sufficient amount of product, however, when it comes down to the last 20 or so mLs, it is quite difficult to salvage the last amount of product. As mentioned earlier, the bottles are quite sturdy and also, they are not so malleable to allow easy compression to squeeze out the last volume of product. To overcome this, I've had to ensure that the bottles are stored up-side-down so that the last amount of product sits at lid.

The consistency of the Shampoo is relatively thick compared to most shampoos I've used in the past, which means that only a small 20cent-sized amount is adequate for one application. The same goes with the conditioner as you could see in the photos that the formula appears like a thick cream. I quite like the consistency as it was very easy to lather the product through my hair. My hair felt beautifully silky smooth and so soft to touch, I was amazed as to how effective these two products transformed my hair to become more hydrated and lustrous. The scent of these products also smell utterly divine! The scent reminds me of fresh berries! Although a little overpowering for my liking, the berry scent did leave my hair smelling fresh after washing my hair.

All in all, I am very much in love with both the Clear Scalp & Hair Beauty Therapy Intense Hydration Shampoo & Conditioner as my hair looks and feels a lot more healthy and beautiful inside-out!

The Clear Scalp & Hair Beauty Therapy Intense Hydration Line is available at Priceline, Coles and selected pharmacies nationwide.

I love how Violet Box always brings NEW and EXCITING products every month! Not only did I receive an amazing assortment of beauty products on my July Violet Box, but everything was housed in a new type of Violet Box! Instead of the usual matte black box with a magnetic flap closure, my Violet Box was white with a black pull out drawer and signature purple tab to pull it out! The new packaging is super cute and easily re-usable! Love it!!

Now on to the beauty products that were housed in my July edition of Violet Box!

Skin & Co Truffle Therapy Serum (A$75/30ml, 5ml sample received) - The sound of truffles always intrigues me! This serum helps to combat wrinkles, fine lines and skin dehydration. I will surely get a good few uses out of this serum to alleviate my dry winter skin.

Sukin Skin Purifying Facial Mask (A$15/100ml, 2x8ml satchets received) - Sukin products are so lovely as they are a skin care company which focuses on natural ingredients. The Purifying Facial Mask is formulated with kaolin and bentonite and infused with aloe vera, rose hip and jojoba oils to purify the pores deep within and nourish the skin. I am looking forward to using this facial mask during the weekend!

KMS California Hair Play Molding Paste (A$40/150ml and A$33/100ml, 20ml sample received) - This Molding Paste smells absolutely beautiful! Smells fruity and delectable! I will definitely use this handy travel-sized tube when styling my hair!

LAQ&Co Sheer Lip Lube Pencil in the shade 'Stranger Danger' (A$20, full sized product received) - Lip products always lights up my eyes! The shade Stranger Danger is such a pretty fuchsia pink that would suit any attire and occasion!

Dr. Hauschka Lavander Sandalwood Calming Body Wash (A$26/200ml and A$6/10ml, 10ml tube received) - I haven't used Dr. Hauschka products before, so I was super excited to try their body wash. This body wash contains quince seed extract alongside some plant surfactants for a luxurious wash!

So Susan Flutter Mascara (A$32/4g, full sized product received) - I'm not so much of a mascara user, so this one will definitely be given to my bestie. I'm sure she will love it because I've enjoyed using other makeup products by So Susan in the past.

Beyonce Rise scented sachet - This was a cute little bonus that was included in my box. I've opened the sachet and left it in my wardrobe so that my clothes would smell fresh! The scent features apricots, Italian bergamot and iced basil sorbet.

I am super happy with the contents in my July Violet Box and very pleased to see a positive new change to the packaging. Violet Box is always consistent with the selection of hair, makeup and body care products which gives me the opportunity to explore a wide range of products in the beauty department! As always, I look forward to the next edition of Violet Box!
