NEW Prestige Cosmetics Total Intensity High Impact Eyeshadow Collection

Prestige Cosmetics will be launching a brand new range of eyeshadows called Total Intensity High Impact Eyeshadow (A$18.99) on Thursday 27 September 2012 online and in selected Priceline stores. The new Total Intensity High Impact Eyeshadow collection boasts high impact and long-lasting colour to provide you with vivid and intense shades to enhance the eyes!

There are 8 gorgeous shades housed in a sturdy flip-top compact square. I love how the packaging looks very sleek and luxe! The eyeshadow formula is a luxuriously creamy and highly pigmented powder that uses duo-chrome pigment. The multi-dimensional effect looks beautiful when applied and the great thing about these eyeshadows is that they are smudge and crease-proof. You can apply them either wet or dry, however, I prefer to use them dry as they are already highly pigmented to provide bold intensity.

Prestige Total Intensity High Impact Eyeshadows in: Spellbound, Crave, Bewitched, Hocus Pocus, Addiction, Obsession, Hypnotized and Black Magic.

Spellbound: a shimmery peach with a light golden metallic sheen.
Crave: an antique golden champagne.
Bewitched: a muted taupe brown.
Hocus Pocus: a dark chocolate brown with subtle green metallic sheen.
Addiction: a deep purple plum.
Obsession: an intense navy blue.
Hypnotized: a shimmering bright emerald green.
Black Magic: a soft charcoal black with silver shimmers.

I am amazed about the quality of these brand new Prestige Total Intensity High Impact eyeshadows as they are incredibly pigmented and the creamy soft texture of the eyeshadows make application very easy to blend. The range of shades are stunning and blending a couple of the shades together gives a beautiful shimmering effect to the eyes. I would definitely recommend these eyeshadows if you are interested in full colour, bold and long-lasting eyeshadows.

Are you excited about the launch of the brand new Total Intensity High Impact eyeshadows by Prestige?

Sukin Celebrates it's 5th Birthday!

This September, Australian natural skincare brand Sukin is celebrating their 5th birthday! To celebrate, Sukin has launched their popular Wellbeing Body Oil (A$19.95 /100ml) with the special symbol of the Marula tree, which is indigenous to southern Africa, on the packaging. Also, the Wellbeing Body Oil comes with a free Nourishing Lip Treatment (valued at A$7.95 /10ml).

Sukin Wellbeing Body Oil
Sukin Wellbeing Body Oil is 100% natural and consists of a delightful blend of botanical oils to help soothe the body and mind. The body oil consists of Rose hip and Marula seed oils to hydrate the skin and promote skin elasticity and radiance. The oil also consists of Soybean oil and Calendula flower extract to help soothe the skin leaving it soft and supple. The blend of natural oils and extracts smells luxurious and wonderful and really does help to soothe my tired and dehydrated skin at the end of a hard working day.

Sukin Wellbeing Body Oil has many uses, with the additional pump attachment, massage the body oil directly onto the skin, add a few drops to a warm bath tub filled with water, apply a teeny tiny amount to your face and neck or even your hair to boost moisture to the ends.

Sukin Nourishing Lip Treatment
Sukin Nourishing Lip Treatment is a lovely lip conditioner which consists of Jojoba oils, Calendula extract to heal dry and chapped lips. The formula also contains Shea butter and Cocoa to provide hydration to the lips. The tip of the tube has a slanted applicator for ease of use. I love this lip treatment as it is effective and keeps my lips moisturised during the day.

Have you used any Sukin products as of late?

L'Occitane Pivoine Délicate Hand Cream

My all-time favourite and best-selling L’Occitane hand cream is part of the limited edition Pivoine Délicate collection and enriched with Shea Butter, Vitamin E and scented with peony extracts. The packaging of the Pivoine Délicate Hand Cream (A$28/75ml) is completely different to the original shea butter hand cream line as the hand cream is housed in a pearlescent pink silicone-feel plastic tube with a large silver cap. To dispense the hand cream you just rotate the cap to squeeze it out onto the skin. The lightweight hand cream feels very moisturising and nourishing with the core ingredient of Shea Butter and the scent lingers on the skin during the whole day – lasting longer than the EDT perfume. The scent is just beautiful and divine!

Which hand cream is your all-time favourite?

L'Occitane Pivoine Délicate Shimmering Powder

The star product of the Pivoine Délicate collection has got to be the Shimmering Powder (A$38/8g)! The glass bottle adorned with a vintage style atomiser pump looks very luxe with the shimmery powder inside reflecting iridescent particles through the bottle. Just gently tap the base of the bottle on the table to loosen the powder and then squeeze the pump to apply a mist of miniscule pink and silver shimmers to the hair and skin (remember to remove the little white plug from where the shimmers are dispensed!). The shimmering powder is delicately scented and is an instant beautifier to leave a silky, satin finish on the skin.

Are you a fan of shimmers on your skin or hair?

L'Occitane Pivoine Délicate Lipstick and EDT and Gloss Duo

Pivoine Délicate Lipstick (Pivoine Délicate Shade #2, A$29/3.5g) is housed in cardboard pink packaging with the peony design embossed on the exterior. The gorgeous cardboard packaging and design has me completely sold! The lipstick is lightly fragrant with the signature Peony extract scent. The texture of the lipstick is creamy, smooth and applies on lightly to moisturise the lips just like a lip balm. The finish is sheer with a hint of colour, providing with me with a ‘my lips but better’ look. The lipstick is great for those who don’t like fully pigmented lipstick and want to achieve the look of naturally fuller, soft and plump lips. There are subtle shimmers, however, these shimmers do not reflect on the lips at all. Only upon close inspection you could notice these shimmers, so from a distance the lips look naturally luscious and hydrated.

This nifty Eau de Toilette and Gloss Duo (A$26/2x5.5ml) is utterly genius - just two essentials, perfume roller-ball and gloss, in one conveniently sized tube! This product is THE perfect handbag companion and great for touch-ups during the day when you are out and about. Pivoine Délicate EDT features a blend of the silky softness of Peony and the green scents of Rose petals and Lily of the Valley with a soft powdery and delicate scent. The scent is beautiful and subtle which makes it compatible with those who love soft delicate floral scents. The gloss provides an iridescent sheen to the lips and freshens up the face with a hint of coral. The lip gloss formula is also non-sticky, which is a great thing, however, I do find that I need to re-apply during the day to keep my lips looking glossy.

Do you love scented lip products? What do you think of the L'Occitane Pivoine Délicate Collection lip products?

NEW Models Prefer Infinite Colour Shadow Pencil

Models Prefer Infinite Colour Shadow Pencil
Models Prefer has launched an exciting new range of eye makeup products which are currently available exclusively at Priceline stores. One of the products which caught my eye was the Infinite Colour Shadow Pencil (A$9.99), available in 6 shades: Black Diamond (black), Down to Earth (taupe), Oh Fudge! (dark brown), Pop the Bubbly (champagne), Style Icon (blue) and What a Poser! (purple).

Models Prefer Infinite Colour Shadow Pencil in Black Diamond

Infinite Colour Shadow Pencil doubles up as an eye definer and liner that could be used along the upper lashes or the eye lids as an eye shadow to compliment with other shades. I love using multitasking makeup products as these types of products save me time and money! Since I am using the shade Black Diamond, I prefer to use this along the top lash line to enhance my eyes and sometimes blended with other shades to create a smoky eye effect.

The texture of the liner is butter-smooth and glides on effortlessly. It is buildable to give intense colour and definition to the eyes. The finish is a soft black, but not a completely jet black shade, with gorgeous silver sparkles. I was really surprised as to how smooth the formula was considering it contains the silver sparkles. The finish looks absolutely beautiful and although it may seem most suitable for a night time look to complement a smoky eye, I love using this during the day to give some oomph to my natural eye makeup look! So really, Models Prefer Infinite Colour Shadow Pencil is not your typical every day ordinary eye liner!

Hello Kitty Makeup GWP at Priceline

I walked into Priceline yesterday and noticed that there was an amazing gift with purchase offer at the Hello Kitty Makeup stand! The Hello Kitty Makeup Collection launched a few months ago at Priceline and that was when I took advantage of the Hello Kitty plushie they offered, you can see my haul here. This time round, there is another GWP offer (which I think may have just initiated) where you could receive a cute Hello Kitty leather-like pouch in either metallic pink or black for free with the purchase of any Hello Kitty Makeup item.

There were limited edition products available such as the cute round compact mirror (A$10), retractable brush (A$12) and sharpener (A$6). I ended up getting the compact mirror because it was large, lightweight and very slim (perfect for my handbag) and I received the black Hello Kitty pouch for free.

I'm not sure when the offer will end, so I assume it will be until stock lasts. If you're going shopping any time soon, be sure to check out the Hello Kitty Makeup Collection at Priceline and get your paws on the adorably cute Hello Kitty pouch!

Have you tried any products from the Hello Kitty Makeup Collection?

August Empties

Lancôme Bi-Facil Eye Makeup Remover: This eye makeup remover rocks my world! It removes all traces of eye liner, shadow and mascara and it doesn't irritate my eyes. I received this as a gift and being 30ml, it lasted me quite awhile.

Maybelline Baby Lips (reviewed here): This lip balm smells berry-delicious! It's nice and small, so fits nicely in my jeans pocket.

L'Oreal Base Magique Transforming Smoothing Primer: This primer comes in a jar which does seem un-hygienic, so you need to use a small plastic spatula to scoop out the product. The primer is relatively thick pastel pink coloured mousse-like formula, so using the warmth from my hands helps to absorb it through the skin. The formula gives a nice silicone feel to the skin and makes a great base for foundation. I'm not a fan of the thick texture, so I don't see myself re-purchasing.

Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex: I thoroughly enjoyed using this serum as it contains Hyaluronic Acid and antioxidants which help to moisturise the skin and combat free radicals as a night treatment. It's so exxy, so maybe using up a sample of this wasn't such a great idea... well not so good for my purse!

Sukin Foaming Facial Cleanser (reviewed here): This gel cleanser is great for my combination/oily skin type as it feels soo gentle to my skin and cleanses my skin really well. It's non-drying and leaves my skin feeling smooth.

Sally Hansen Moisturising Foot Creme in Lavender: My skin inevitably becomes dry during winter, so this foot creme came in really handy to hydrate and condition my dry heels. The scent is lavender, my favourite scent, so that's another great bonus!

Soap and Glory Flake Away: Soap and Glory products smell utterly divine! Flake Away is an amazing product which buffs my skin and leaves it feeling ultra smooth hydrated. Will definitely look into purchasing the full size!

ULittleBeauty Enriching Night Cream: I love all ULittleBeauty skincare and hair care products as they are nautral based products and smell wonderfully botanical. This night cream feels very hydrating on my skin and the texture is nice and lightweight.

Nivea Pure and Natural Hand Cream: I am a huge fan of nautral based products and this hand cream is one that I love! It contains bio Argan Oil which helps to nourish and hydrate my hands. During winter, this product was a necessity!

Klorane Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk (reviewed here): I love using dry shampoo and Klorane Dry Shampoo is an amazing product that's a must-have in my gym bag. It's great for travel and so quick and easy to use when my hair needs an instant refresher.

Have you used any of these products before? Which products have you finished recently?
